The frame is made completely from aluminium and comes glazed as standard. The posts are slim 70mm by 70mm square profiles as standard, which keeps the structure looking contemporary and unobtrusive rather than bulky.
The veranda projects up to 3.5 metres out from the wall of the property. This covers a generous patio area and gives enough depth for outdoor seating, a dining table, or a lounge setup underneath. The width is made to measure to suit your specific space.
The Simplicity Range comes with four glass options for the roof. These are 6mm clear toughened glass, 6mm clear self-cleaning glass, 6mm toughened grey and blue tint, and 6mm toughened self-cleaning blue tinted glass.
The self-cleaning options are worth considering for a roof that is difficult to reach. The coating breaks down organic dirt in daylight and lets rain sheet off the surface, carrying the loosened dirt away. For a veranda roof exposed to leaves, pollen, and general debris, this significantly reduces how often the glass needs cleaning.
The tinted options reduce glare and heat gain, which suits south-facing verandas where the space might otherwise become too bright or warm in summer.
The aluminium frame can be finished in any RAL colour. This means you can match the veranda to your existing window and door frames, your guttering, or any other exterior detail on the property. Wall mounted infrared heaters can be added to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere underneath the veranda. These use far infrared technology with ceramic elements that gently warm people rather than heating the air. The technology is completely harmless, contains no ultraviolet radiation or fumes, and reaches full operating temperature in under 10 minutes.
Each heater comes with a 5 year warranty and requires no maintenance. For homeowners who want to use the veranda in the cooler months, infrared heating transforms the space from a spring-to-autumn area into a genuinely year-round one.
For properties where a more traditional aesthetic suits the architecture, the Victorian upgrade adds decorative post sleeves and gallows brackets to the structure. This gives the veranda a period-appropriate look that complements older and more traditional homes across the Cotswolds and beyond.
Optional side screens provide additional protection from wind and rain, which is useful for verandas on more exposed sites or where the prevailing weather comes from a particular direction.
