Home > Origin Windows & Doors
Origin makes two aluminium window systems and a full range of doors. The OW-70 is the slimline window, with sightlines of just 65mm for the most glass and light. The OW-80 is the premium window, with 91mm sightlines, a flush casement inside and out, and more configurations and sizes. On the door side, Origin makes bifolds, sliding doors, single doors and front doors, all in the same aluminium and colour range so everything matches.
Origin started as a family-run company back in 2001 and now operates internationally, winning awards for design, build quality and security of their windows, doors, bifolds and sliding doors. We supply and fit the full Origin range across Gloucestershire and beyond from our Cheltenham showroom.

Origin's slimmest window, for homes where the view matters most.
The more flexible system, with a flush casement on both sides.
When comparing the OW-70 and OW-80 from Origin, the key difference is the width of the window sightlines. The OW-70 is ideal for properties where a thin sightline is required, making the most of a beautiful view with less window profile. There is however increased flexibility with the OW-80 range, where more configurations, larger sizes and customisable options are available. Both ranges use weather tight seals and thermal breaks to reach U-values of 1.2 W/m²K, come in over 150 RAL colours and carry a guarantee of up to 20 years.
In our experience, the OW-80 works better than the OW-70 on replacement window projects in older homes, because the flush casement inside and out hides the differences between opening and fixed panes, and the wider choice of sizes copes better with openings that are not square. On new extensions, where the openings are built to suit, we've found the OW-70 is usually the one people choose for the slimmer frame.

Both systems are made to measure and come in casement, fixed, French, gable end and bay configurations. Tilt and turn windows are also available, opening inwards for cleaning and tilting from the top for ventilation, which makes them a practical choice upstairs and anywhere outside access is limited. Glazing bars can be added to either system if you want a Georgian or steel-look grid.

The Signature Knurled handle is the same design used on Origin's doors, so windows and bifolds can share one finish across the whole house. The Inline handle is the simpler option, sitting flush along the frame.

All Origin windows are Secured By Design and PAS 24 certified. Origin hinges are corrosion resistant and additional hinge guards, crimped frames and locking handles further improve security. These features make Origin Windows one of the most secure windows on the market.
As with all Origin products, Origin windows are available in a wide range of RAL colours. With over 150 colours to choose from, you're bound to find the right colour to suit you and your home. With Origin you can even choose to have different coloured windows indoors and outdoors with their dual colour option.
Finished with a durable, scratch-resistant powder coating, Origin Windows are smooth to the touch and low maintenance. Every frame is powder coated at Origin's own facility in Bicester, where the pre-treatment line uses 10 cleaning stages rather than the 5 to 7 most lines use. The powder coating is included in their guarantee of up to 20 years.
If you are in a hurry for your beautiful new Origin windows then popular colours are available on a much quicker lead time and you could even receive your windows the very next day*.
*Subject to terms and conditions
Origin aluminium windows are extremely strong yet weigh 67% less than steel. Unlike many other materials, Origin Windows won't warp, flex or corrode in variable weather conditions for a reliable window that's smooth to operate.
We offer the full range of Origin doors, including bifold doors and patio and sliding doors, as well as single doors and front doors. Because everything is built from the same aluminium and colour range, a set of bifolds, a side door and your windows can all be specified in one finish.

This easy access door invites lots of natural light into the home with its large pane of glass, making it the ideal addition to your home for a contemporary look and feel.

First impressions matter. With an Origin front door, you can rest assured that your front door will perfectly reflect your home's style whilst providing ultimate security and longevity.
Origin Front Doors are exclusively manufactured in the UK by highly trained craftspeople using only premium-grade aluminium. Available in a range of stunning panel choices, colours and styles, Origin front doors are completely bespoke, enabling you to create a personal statement with ease.

Yes. Origin windows are Secured By Design and PAS 24 certified. They use corrosion resistant hinges, hinge guards, crimped frames and locking handles. Secured By Design is the police backed standard for products used in domestic properties.
Casement, fixed, French, gable end, bay and tilt and turn. Glazing bars can be added for a Georgian or steel-look grid, and handles come in left or right hand offset versions. Tilt and turn windows open inwards for cleaning and tilt from the top for ventilation, which suits upstairs rooms and anywhere outside access is limited.
Origin window systems use weather tight seals and thermal breaks to reach U-values of 1.2 W/m²K, which meets and exceeds current building regulations. The OW-80 can also be specified with Aerogel, an insulator originally developed for space shuttles.
Over 150 RAL colours, including textured and dual colour options so the inside and outside can differ. Popular colours such as Anthracite Grey, Jet Black and White are available on much shorter lead times than special colours.
Both. We supply and install the full Origin range, and we can also supply only if you have your own fitters. Either way we measure and specify the job first so the windows and doors arrive right.
