MORE SKY - LESS ROOF
No need for unsightly roof bars!
Unlike any other roof, a lantern roof from the Bifold Shop has no clunky bars or supports cluttering the roof and no thick chunky frame dominating the glazing.
Through engineering excellence the exterior of the Bifold Shop lantern roofs boast modern straight lines along with super slim 40mm frame.
Independent tests prove Atlas offers the best thermal and strength performance available in the UK domestic conservatory market. As tested by the BBA.

Internal ridge and rafter slimness
Using the benefits of slimline technology lantern roofs
from the Bifold Shop have combined good looks,
outstanding strength and intelligent detailing,
to create one of the finest looking
for lantern roof installations.
The strength-to-weight ratio of our aluminium profile offers dramatic roof spans without tie bars. Larger spans can be achieved easily without the need for unsightly bolster bars.
The lantern roof from the Bifold Shop rafter has
a U value of 1.5 W/m2k,
which is twice as thermally
efficient as its
nearest competitor (which are over 3).
When using doubled glazed Low E glass
(U value 1.1W/m2k) the overall Atlas roof
has a U value of as low as 1.2 W/m2k.
The strongest roof available
Independent tests carried out by the BBA,
Queen’s University and Independent structural
engineers all confirm our roof is the strongest
glazed roofing available in the UK - designed
to withstand 33% greater loads than other
Triple glazing available
The fundamental design features and the
strength of the roof system, enables
the roof structure to withstand additional
loads, such as the introduction of triple
glazing. This results in a 44mm triple
glazed unit with an overall U value of
as low as 0.7 W/m2k.
Single bay roofvents have been designed to match
the roofs slimline appearance, which can be supplied
with either a manual opener or an electrical opener.
Wide range of colours
Available in a range of RAL colours, the modern finish,
flat roof rafter caps are available in PVCu or aluminium.
